It was Ronnie or Keith that mentioned that there was a fair amount of Rockies players watching the festivities too. I think that builds up around the league and shows the other players (particularly potential FA targets) that not only do we have an owner with ridiculously deep pockets, but also one who happens to be a fan and takes care of his players, past and present.
I like that long haired dude that Colorado brought out of the bullpen, he's got some good stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing him in our pen.
