We score 1 or 2 runs in soooo many spots where we should have a big inning and score 4 or 5 runs. It’s so frustrating. We should be up 10-0 yet we are letting them hang around and their scum fans are back into it. In this bandbox we need all the runs we can get. Pedal to the metal fellas LFGM

If the Mets could hit with runners on base they would be blowing these teams out by the 3rd inning.
They have good at bats to get on base but then freeze up, only score 0-1 runs when they should be putting up 3-4.
edit: This is a typical start for Peterson. Nibbling at the corners, falling behind every batter, constantly throwing balls in the dirt... then he has to come over the plate with no velocity or movement. He simply doesn't know how to pitch.
