2 weird ass rules come into play in that Falcons and Saints game.
The ball is fumbled out of bounds and ATL has to burn their last TO to stop the clock? :dwillhuh:
Then the incomplete pass hits the ground with one second left and the ref says their has to be two seconds left to put time back on the clock? :why:

What? The NFL always has some shyt that pops up that makes no sense.

A ball being fumbled out of bounds is ruled as the player being down inbounds.

Imagine there's five seconds left and a player has the ball in the middle of the field. You can't throw that ball to the sidelines to stop the clock.

They should review that rule, a forced fumble outta bounds different than a pitch or toss going out
