Nah NY needs to get rid of Jones and start over, but they can't reach for a QB. Build the defense back up first and when the time is right get a QB.

This year definitely not the year and maybe not even next year because I think the division will still be a bad state next year unless Dak comes back looking like himself.

But yeah after 2 years passes then they can go looking for a QB again, I'd just get the defense looking elite if possible before they do.
