I know it’s unfair for the other teams in the conference but you kinda have to give the Bills and Steelers a win and have Titans forfeit. Why should other teams accommodate their schedule cause they can’t follow the rules?

That kind of messes up the playoff picture. Pittsburgh could get in over another team based on a game they never played.

Suspend Vrabel and take away draft picks. Fine the players who practiced illegally.

If you're saying that might as well cancel the season.

No. You don't cancel everybody season because of one team. You don't inconvenience everyone for one team. You deal with the one team and if other teams benefit from it than so be it. It is what it is.
But you can't keep pushing things back and rearranging everything for them. They have to take the Ls.

I think that's the crux of the NFL's argument with the Titans - they knew they weren't gonna do a bubble because that has to be collectively bargained and the NFLPA didn't wanna do it. They knew people were going to catch COVID(both players and staff) and their medical officer stated that if the teams followed protocol they should not have a huge outbreak - apparently the Titans didn't and they have a bunch of surveillance tape from the Titans facilities with violations.

They're gonna punish the Titans - hard.

By forfeiting you're not just punishing the Titans and that's it. We see how crazy the wildcards get based on record. Let's say NE finishes a game behind Buffalo and the deciding factor was a forfeit W. NE gets a wildcard and has to play a road game. What if Buffalo finishes tied with or a game better than KC and the Chiefs have to go on the road to face them instead of having a home game for the conference championship.

Did the Titans break protocol before the Steelers game? If they didn't you can't make them forfeit.

What if two other teams on Buffalo's schedule break protocol. You'll make 3-0 in those games?:patrice:

Giving a team a free W effects every team in the playoff hunt. The games will have to be played at a later date. If the season has to be extended so be it.

Let's use Pittsburgh situation as an example. They were originally scheduled to have a bye week before playing us (Ravens). Now they have to move their bye week, play a tough game with the Titans, and then the very next week play a tough game with us. They essentially got punished and they didn't do anything wrong. And to make matters worse, the Titans probably won't be able to play again this week. So now you have to figure out where you move that to because unless you plan to screw the Steelers over even more than you have.
