Yeah, I said that in that Rams / Hawks game thread that I found it weird that Goff was ready to go all along for the most part and yet McVay decided to start Walford. Im sure he expected more growth outta Goff by now.

@Conscious Pilot was that ever in question? :lolbron:

The only question is if we move up and grab Trey Lance or do something more extreme to correct our main issue....

I only watch clips of it, but do any of you watch the Pat McAfee show? Aaron Rodgers is always on there, and I have to say he's come across as far more likeable than he seemed years ago.

No disrespect to any of the QB's playing today (Mahomes aside), but this league is going to sorely miss Brady, Rodgers, and Brees when they retire.:mjcry:.

Aint yall capped out to hell?

They are, but you know who isn't?:mjlit:.

You know which team the Texans GM was apart of for nearly twenty years?:mjlit:.

You know which coach/GM probably has some dirt on that Texans GM?:mjlit:.

You know which coach/GM will likely use that dirt as leverage for a Watson trade?:mjlit:.

You know which WR that was out this year would love to come dance and play football up in New England?:mjlit:. (OBJ).

You also have nothing worth while to offer.

Going to be interesting what the Colts do at QB this offseason. Team is built to compete now and they'll have over $60M in cap space where they could sign a big FA QB like Dak (who DAL likely will re-sign), could make a trade for a QB that becomes available like Jimmy G, Darnold (Deshaun isn't an option because the Texans won't trade him in the division if they decided to make him available), they're drafting in the 20s where they can't get one of the top 3 QBs, they only see Jacoby as a nice backup but not "the guy", and Eason that fell to them could be a hit/miss.

I hope Eason steps up cause I definitely don't see Jerry letting Dak go, don't see Ballard giving up picks for Stafford, and I don't like them retread options in Jimmy G/Darnold.

I guess the most plausible option is to start Jacoby while giving Eason more time to ease into the role for 2022, but that's a 7-9/8-8 wasted season with this roster. Unless Eason completely balls out in training camp and impresses the staff this year.
