That scenario > Trump I or II

We're still in Iraq and Afghanistan just at a significantly reduced level
That scenario lead to a generation of people being fukked over. It was a grave moment.

we're not talking about americans...we're talking person to person. the divide wasn't huge, and it wasn't as daunting as this one.

and 25% of hillary voters may have went mccain, but had she been the nominee, they would have went for her and her results would likely be close to those of barack

2008 Election Results
Candidate Party Electoral Votes Popular Votes

Barack H. Obama Democratic - 365 - 69,456,897

John S. McCain Republican - 173 - 59,934,814

this election is much more risky
25% of people voting for the other party’s candidate is a huge divide.

depends on who those voters were, if it was dems, ok, if it was mainly independents, not really.

edit: i'm seeing it was 10% of dems who voted for mccain, same as the % who voted for bush in 2004 :patrice: that doesn't support a divide, seems stability during war voters carried over from 04 to 08 + wishy washy conservative dems (due to a relatively moderate mccain)

Considering why Buttigieg gained more traction than Booker or Castro could turn anyone into a cynic.

Both are lightyears better than the local official and never could get off the ground :francis:

I think it's a generational thing. Pete is still a white man at the end of the day.
