I get the apprehension because I'd bet you'd get a snowball type logic paired with "well what if the VP's kid is really qualified and deserving of the job." So they'd start from what if the son/daughter deserves their role and earns it and then say something along the lines of "who's next? Their whole family? Why stop there? What about their friends" ...and all that crap. For me it seems like a no brainer not to allow it but I admittedly haven't seen counter arguments so maybe I'm missing something...also, how many reps have kids on foreign boards that you have to worry about it being cautious? Like is Hunter Biden not an outlier?
