I'm still having a hard time seeing any of these candidates beating Trump. Incumbency is a bytch. :smh:

Maybe things will change as we get closer to 2020 but I'm just not seeing much enthusiasm or unity on the left.

i agree. it's on trump to fukk up or the stock market to crash. hes not gaining support because theres nothing he can do to gain more.

and there's over a year left for trump to do that :ehh:

There's enthusiasm.

The whole unity thing is overblown. There are ideological differences in the Democratic Party. The purpose of a primary is to flesh it out and the strongest candidate wins.

If there is no debate and no exposure of a record such as Biden's, you know who will expose it? Trump. And it would be utterly ridiculous if Trump is allowed to run to the left of someone like Biden on things like the Iraq War, NAFTA, and mass incarceration.

Trump is the incumbent but he's not a popular one. The fact the GOP begged him not to campaign in MI, WI, and PA in late 2018 is eye-opening.
