Ok,
I know about Center for American Progress, but I never heard of it referred to as CAP. And yea she need better FP advisors
damn, Liz![]()
She's hiring experts. Not shyt stirrers.Center for American Progress, basically a shytty dem think tank
For someone who executive staffing decisions is supposed to be a strong suit, every hiring decision deserves scrutiny. These aren't random interns, they're high ranking advisors. Staffing matters.![]()
Contrary to the wishes of the fervently anti-Liz faction, she does not have a deep or strong history of believing in the foreign policy status quo. She has been more or less inattentive to foreign policy. She's not a true believer, like Hillary was. Which means she has the space to go either left or right with it. This (single!) hiring decision is movement in the wrong direction. She has the time and space to correct course, and I really wish she would do so. It would significantly alleviate the last lingering issue I have with her.Not sure why this would surprise you.

There are "experts" in every field that believe in bad things and give shytty advice. The problem is particularly rife in the arena of foreign policy. Israel may have hated Obama, but that fact should have given him the freedom to pursue a far more balanced approach to that crisis than he did. But because he staffed him administration with a bunch of shytty "experts", he missed opportunities to pursue real and lasting peace. It's not nihilism, it's a progressive, human rights based approach to foreign policy. Nihilism is continually following the same horrific track that has led us to this point because the "experts" say so.She's hiring experts. Not shyt stirrers.
Israel HATED Obama and his ENTIRE administration...they were experts! Stop ceding ground to nihilists.
Look at the bigger picture.
You just hate to see it.I keep telling you all. She making a lot of unforced errors. That letter to the donors and meeting with Clinton may be the beginning of the end for her rise, brehs. You hate to see it.

So its OK for Bernie to hire a CAP alumni but not Warren? There are "experts" in every field that believe in bad things and give shytty advice. We have 11 aircraft carriers. What do yall expect?Warren is a party liner on foreign policy. Which is pretty bad. It's crazy how this is overlooked by the "they're both the same" crowd. However, she's not a hawk, atleast there's no evidence of that.
I just realized the person they're talking about is Ganesh Sitaraman, which takes some of the sting out of the critique imo, but I still think these centrist-liberal think tanks like CAP need to be kept in check.bruh.
the hire isn't even from a centrist organization like Third Way or the Niskanen Center. its a left leaning organization ...on FOREIGN POLICY. I mean we can go to Heritage, AEI, AIPAC, Hudson, etc.
Think about what you're saying bruh.
Her CFR responses were distinctly on the left flank of the party, so I don't know if saying she toes the party line is very accurate.Warren is a party liner on foreign policy. Which is pretty bad. bruh, centrist-liberal think tanks RARELY exist...because all the big money is right wingI just realized the person they're talking about is Ganesh Sitaraman, which takes some of the sting out of the critique imo, but I still think these centrist-liberal think tanks like CAP need to be kept in check.
