I do see a scenario where the Democrats destroy each other, especially Biden during the primary, Biden still wins the primary, then those same people destroying him, rush to support Biden, but Trump and conservative media uses everything that was said from Democrats about Biden during the primary against Biden and young people are convinced enough to stay home. Trump wins re-election thanks to the Democrats handing it to him.

Democrats can't do anything right so this will always be a possibility. Even if it's a small possibility.

Thankfully most of the far left in tha democrat party are all talk n don’t show up on Election Day, unlike moderates.

That’s why I don’t sweat Warren/Bernie/Kamala beating Biden. Their base is mostly young ppl who’d rather complain on Twitter than actually get up, put on clothes n go vote.

Republicans will unite no matter what. Democrats are too picky and need to be romanced by candidates and fall in love. That's why there's so much division. If they aren't perfect, they're ready to tear them apart like vultures.

Trump has already shown this is going to be a big part of his strategy against Biden, and from the reaction to his current gaffes, I highly doubt people are just going to ignore Biden's visible signs of dementia as he calls black kids dumb and confuses world leaders for their counterparts 20 years ago. They're going to have to Weekend at Bernie's this dude. It's gonna be ugly.

Like, I would be more inclined to agree with you if these weren't unforced errors by Biden, caused by his rapidly declining mental facilities. This isn't going to get better.

It won't resonate coming from Trump. The only reason it's sticking now is because there are 4-5 more competent candidates.

Biden is in even worse shape.

Look, Bernie is a Jew. They live to 100 still sharp as a tack. And he's draining threes and sprinting through airports every day. He's our ace. He's our guy.

And the elites and the centrists need to vote blue, no matter who, when Bernie is the nominee.

Highly doubt that. You guys are letting your Biden hatred cloud your thinking. He'll be fine once he gets out of the shark waters of the primary and it's him vs Trump. All the nit-picking over his gaffes will disappear and people will refocus on defeating Trump. Obama just needs to advice him on a solid VP pick.

Obviously you're right in that everyone will be focused on defeating Trump. But that still doesn't mean that Biden's history won't be a liability. Trump's strategy is to bring his opponent's favorabilities down and double down on attacks ranging from issues like NAFTA, China, Crime Bill with scandal and in Biden's case they'd talk about his son's dealings and all that shid.

Of course, Trump is a criminal and his family is benefiting from the office. But as we know, they don't give a fukk and have no shame. Plus the right wing media apparatus and its misinformation floods into the mainstream. Outlets like CNN, NPR and others in print like NYT, WaPO were so bad in 2016 they helped Trump out so much

While it's true Biden has always been a gaffe waiting to happen, it's also clear, he has lost a few steps. In both debates he could barely get his talking points out and just seemed overall sluggish like he needed a nap.
