She is actually a descendent of Native Americans the problem is she claimed to be Cherokee and to get that status you got to be a descendent of a specific Native American who signed a contract over a hundred years ago or a descendent of a Native American who paid money to buy into the tribe (aka gained citizenship in the tribe)
The whole thing is the equivalent of if she said she was a descendent of a Latino from Mexico when in reality her Ancestor came from Honduras

i will say that's my one beef across the board with the leading candidates and current president...they're old, especially to not be taking office for another ~1.5 yrs. i wish Liz was 50 instead of 70...as far as bernie and biden...they'd be 78/79 taking office in a position that aged obama like 10 years in his first term

Maybe, maybe not. But even if he didn't win he'd increase turnout in Texas and help other Dems get elected (which is what happened in 2018).

They need a black VP imo. Trump is going to win Texas so it's a moot point. They need to focus on winning those Obama voters in MI, PA, and WI who sat home in 2016, many of who were black voters.
