the media and you guys are falling for the same trick

All politicians misspeak and make gaffes

Trump is insane or pretending to be

Bernie misspeaks and mutters all the time, I know you guys are cult but at least try and have an honest conversation

For sure, there are plenty of reasons to hate on Biden that don't involve his inability to say things correctly.
For example, when he told his rich donors nothing would change, he wasn't making a gaffe, he was speaking from the heart, fully aware of his words.

Bruh, I don't get it...is Biden nervous or what?

Or is he really sun-downing?

Dude literally made some SERIOUS rhetorical errors in the last 72 hours and im legit worried about this guy, above and beyond the white house.

i will say that's my one beef across the board with the leading candidates and current president...they're old, especially to not be taking office for another ~1.5 yrs. i wish Liz was 50 instead of 70...as far as bernie and biden...they'd be 78/79 taking office in a position that aged obama like 10 years in his first term :francis: how the hell is our "hope" tied up in people who are damn near 80 :mindblown:
because mainstream voters only vote in people with "experience"

who has more political experience than an 80 year old politician?

Obligatory :troll:
lol I'm not trolling. I'm serious.

Mainstream voters always want it both ways (not necessarily @dora_da_destroyer ). On one hand it's "omg X person is so old." Then when you pull up their voting record they only vote for old people. Like how do you think that 80 yr old politician got to be 80 yrs old and a fukkn politician. Clearly someone kept voting them in. None of these people are being voted into the Senate at age 80. They are aging into their positions by being re-elected.

The argument Joe Biden is old "now" completely erases the fact that JUST THREE YEARS AGO HE WAS THE fukkN VP OF THE UNITED STATES. Not 3 decades. 3 years.

His age is just an excuse to pretend that we didn't vote for that fukkn airhead in 2012 and 2008.

there are people in their mid 20s with far more political experience that trump had in 2016
But that just means they're a part of the swamp! :damn:

We could do this all day. All I'm saying is that when you make the "experience" argument as a voter, don't get mad when that shyt comes back and bites your ass when you want to vote for a candidate that represents a disenfranchised population.

When we don't tether our party affiliations to actual political theory things like "experience" and "name recognition" become the driving force of this political theater you see in print and television.

I dont disagree with your point :manny: I also think you cant have it both ways. my point was that I dont think voters are necessarily looking for experience, as evidenced by the orange faggit

80 is over the hill, "experienced" is checked off at the 15-20 year mark IMO....so anyone 40+ is more than qualified in my book, people 70+ across the board need to go sit down and enjoy the last decent years of life :heh:

You're conflating a lot of ideas in this post. Stop using 'voters' as a catch all for only people who voted for Trump. The 2016 Dem nominee literally ran on being the most experienced presidential candidate in US history - and won the popular vote.

The same Trump voters that voted for him because he was outside the establishment also spent the next 10-15mn voting for establishment republican candidates in state and local elections.

The average age of the US Senate is 61 :stopitslime:

We just elected the youngest freshman class since.....2011. :mjlol:

I mean, the democratic party is quite literally ran based on seniority....you think Biden and Tim Kaine got tapped because of their good looks :usure:

You have the fukkn oldest senator in the country who you didn't vote in until she was 59 :mjtf:

Your last governor was old as fukk, 81, governor 4 times, and then handed his legacy over to a man who'd been in politics since 1997 and was the son of a state appeals court justice. :mjtf:

Y'all serious right now about this experience thing?

:hubie: That's fine with me

The 70yr age limit would effectively wipe out 3/4th of the US Senate. It's virtue signaling. But whatever. :manny:

oh, you've missed me on this topic. i'm for term limits on congress and the SCOTUS, don't need people 70-90 setting the course of the country for people 2-3 generations younger than them
