Most people in America aren't that smart, which is why political leaders have the moral and ethical obligation to educate people on the reality of America's history so we can change America's present. By purposefully burying the historical truth in the name of advancing short-term centrist politics, Joe Biden is harming America's future. He's neutering true revolutionary potential and pacifying those unknowledgeable Americans with some Epcot fever-dream Americana lullaby. That statement proves he's not committed to fundamentally changing the nature of a society that brought us to this point, he just wants to return to a period when we were ignorant of the disease. This isn't about an intellectual high horse, it's about ideological organizing and attempting to tack starboard because this ship is headed for an iceberg.

I don't think Joe Biden is the worst person ever, I just think he's woefully unqualified and unprepared to shepherd America through this inflection point in America's history. He's shown over and over again that he doesn't understand the depth and breadth of the rot in American society, so how in god's name can he be trusted to take on the highest leadership role in the land? I'm not exactly sure what you're saying with "We trying to win, painting him as the worst person ever is the same thing republicans did", but we already had a centrist establishment Democrat try the "Trump IS the disease, he's the worst person in American history, etc". The result was Trump in office. Perhaps we should try another route.

I get what youre saying...but what does it mean to be qualified then? Hes been a senator and vp...i havent heard the arguement saying hes unqualified yet. Is he out of touch? Perhaps. But unqualified? Idk if id say that. I mean trump won with no qualifications whatsoever...is that even a thing now?

To be unqualified means you don't have the chops to handle the job. It has nothing to do with his previous (by pretty much all metrics, horrible) "service" as a "statesman". If you are out of touch, you're unqualified to be President. Being in touch with the times and the tasks at hand seems to be a fairly uncontroversial requirement for a President.

Warren, Bernie, and Buttigieg (and Marianne for that matter) have all recognized that Trump is a symptom, not a disease. They've also all been able to forward a political narrative that doesn't rely on destroying underlying truths about the unethical underpinnings of American society and how brutal its history has been to the marginalized and dispossessed. Unlike Biden, their political strategy isn't pacification of American society into that well-worn stupor that produces Trumps, they're all (to varying degree imo, Pete is iffy here) attempting to create a political paradigm that energizes the citizenry to fight the forces of oppression without sacrificing justice or truth. Their political narratives aren't reliant on these lies Biden is telling, because they're structural, long-term thinkers out to fundamentally alter American society in a progressive direction. Biden is a short-term idiot out to preserve the status quo.

I'd support Warren 100% if I thought she could beat Trump. Warren embarrassing herself about the native american thing, Trump shytting on her for it, and massive sexism among both male and female voters are reasons I don't see her beating Trump.

Not supporting Warren, because you think others are too sexist to support her, isn't a real reason and actually contributes to that problem.

She will have to deal with the sexists...and the people who say "well others are sexist, so I can't 100% support her either." This is how we end up with "safe" candidates who look the part but aren't really about shyt.
