The majority of black people are not Uber liberals like Warren/Sanders. When they catch that major L during the southern primaries, they are going finally realize it .

When Hillary washed Bernie In the SC Primary and the rest of the south it was such a beautiful sight to see

The Democratic party is already setting up Black folks to get blamed anyways if Trump wins again.

You all really underestimate the fact that a lot of black people (especially in the south) are lower case “c” conservatives. You can’t be a lefty AND a woman and think you will win the nomination, let alone the general election. Warren is both far left Uber liberal woman.

Also, a lot of women (in the south) still hold views that women shouldn’t be running the country.

You're right. Most of these left wing policies don't even benefit us Black folks either like Illegal Immigration.

Many of these Black Baby Boomers are stuck in their ways and very religious.

Very true, but you’re only mentioning the black women that she may connect with. Why are the black men votes never considered? I’d like to see a breakdown of the black vote by gender for these candidates.

It's not so much they focus too much on Black Women as much as Black Men aren't dependable Democrat voters. Black Women come out almost 100% for Democrats. No other demographic does that for a party.

We get ignored a lot ...... we need more middle class black men to be taken serious. Which on the flip is easier said than done because the whole system is made to keep us from reaching the middle class.

Then Black Men should make more efforts to get themselves and their communities heard.

A lot of Black Men around me don't even vote and find zero importance in it.

Based on my readings in TLR, it seems that despite being born here in America, being raised my entire life to love all my Black brothers and sisters, Team Reparations as well as ADOS considers me not "Black", despite the fact that my entire family is from the Caribbean (Trinidad and Dominica), that I am in fact descended from slaves, and that I have faced discrimination in this country just like any other person of African decent.

That's my views on reparations and ADOS

It sounds like you have a misunderstanding of what it is or being willfully obtuse. ADOS has a right just like everybody else to be our own group. It's not so much we don't consider y'all "Black enough," but you don't have the same lineage and history in this country as much as we do. United States didn't enslave your ancestors and keep them oppressed through means like lynching, redlining, etc. Your grievance would be with Great Britain, not the US.

I've had friends from all over the wrong proud of their heritage and how it differentiate themselves from "American culture," but all of a sudden it's wrong for ADOS to redefine who and what we are. I don't get why it bothers people like you. ADOS people are considered the bottom of barrel for immigrants and their descendants, but all I a sudden y'all want to get butthurt about it.

It's your personal problem.

It's not about questioning "blackness". We've never denied that other Africans dropped off in the New World are "black".

ADOS is about identifying our lineage. The lineage of Blacks who have been in the USA since it's creation. We are just saying we have a different claim in regards to what this country owes us.
