I don’t think any of the ideas any of these people are putting out are new. What is unique is running on policies instead of personality. The only policy that I saw out there that seemed new was Sanders teaching policies taking a stand against charter schools and perhaps Warren’s policy on housing. Otherwise you’re just seeing timely rollouts of stances from progressive groups and think tanks. It stands out because we are used to candidates running in generalities and one big policy.
