This is Biden's election to lose. He just needs to not fukk up in the debates, but he's shown to be good at those (he definitely won his debates with Palin and Paul Ryan).

One thing Biden and Trump have in common is a problem with staying on the message their advisors plot out for them. Apparently his staff did not want him to tell the Eastland story but he did anyway. And its not getting enough press but he essentially told Wall Street and the rich that nothing was going to change if he was to be in office, business as usual after he claimed his first order of business in the WH would be to over turn Trump's tax cuts.
Biden is going to say whatever it is he thinks the audience at the time wants to hear, i.e. sitting with Sharpton claiming he came up in the black church while organizing and marching for civil rights.
He's going to get off easy in the primary debates because its bad strategy to attack your peers this soon but his campaign is going to be in an interesting point as we get closer to the general.
