-if the economy tanks on trump, biden has a shot at taking florida. bernie, clearly, does not

-the governor of michigan, who they just elected in 2018, has endorsed biden. biden beat bernie in michigan

-biden is FROM pennsylvania

theres a fine line between supporting progressive ideas and being completely delusional about winning this election

Why are people acting surprised Bernie getting blown out in Florida? This was never a state he was going to win. It was much more devastating that he lost Michigan last week.

That's one way to look at it. Another way to look at it: Bernie has shown an inability to compete in multiple important states, especially ones with large black voting blocs. And because of that he's getting blown out, thus increasing Biden's delegate count. Michigan may have been the bigger story, but Florida is going to give Biden a delegate lead that is virtually insurmountable. It's over. Bernie knows it. Everyone knows it. He wants to stay and demand policy concessions as if we're not in the middle of a national/global crisis. Nobody cares.

10 years from now when there are food shortages, droughts, droves of climate refugees and people escaping their flooded homes, we'll wish the American people were smart enough to have voted for a candidate like Bernie. This is perhaps the most consequential election in history. This pandemic is just a precursor of whats to come. The neoliberalism of Joe Biden nor the fascism of Trump is going to stop whats coming. Only progressive policies will mitigate the level of suffering in front of us.
