@the cac mamba @BucciMane @DEAD7

Y'all are slacking around here, if peeps on here confident about Liz having a chance against 45. :snoop:
:manny:I think she has a shot, and will vote for her...
The Trump/Bernie show down lends itself to much to Trump with the overwhelming majority of voting Americans not understanding how Sanders socialism isn’t Stalin socialism.
Trump will bury him without any real substance and Dems will be bewildered.

Knowing your audience is something the GOP has a better grasp of.

Warren or Beto should get the nod

Breh i agree with her platform, but she's as polarizing to cacs in flyover states as Hillary.

You're asking for a lot to happen this summer between yang and Warren.:francis:

I mean, I'd support Bernie obviously. I'd rather Warren and a long shot like Yang be in the top tier of candidates.

I think she'd definitely win WI, MI, and PA though. WI and MI have female US Senators and one has a female Governor.

I don't believe this....

Is your bar back open? What do your patrons think?

Guess I'll start shamelessly pushing for Warren 2020. :ehh:

Bernie is allowed to enter the public arena in a generally disheveled, unkempt state and his appearance is treated as a lovable quirk. Elizabeth Warren looks, by all objective metrics, like a totally normal and put together woman, and she's called a schoolmarm or library lady, and her appearance is held up as evidence of why she can never be President. That's pretty textbook sexism.

Elizabeth Warren makes one genuine "mistake" from literally 40 years ago that has no relevance for her current campaign for Presidency, it's held up as evidence that she's irredeemable and she must step aside. Bernie pretty consistently stumbles around issues of race and gender in the present day, he just learning and we need to support him on his journey to get better. That's pretty textbook sexism.

When you're a member of a marginalized group, you don't get second chances. You're perpetually on thin ice. Nothing is ever a mistake that you can learn and improve from, it's always evidence of a fundamental inadequacy.

I have to reiterate, I really like Bernie and believe he should be given the chance to improve on his weak spots. I would just like to see the same standard applied to Liz.

Thats why the media is pushing him.

There are a lot LGBTQ members in the media.

I'm still not seeing the Yang hype.

I think yang will explode in the debates, if not then he willing at least bring UBI into the mainstream for next elections. :yeshrug:

Honestly, I've supported Yang's initiative for the get go, when I first heard about breh a year ago.

The problem for me is that I'm a realist, so I try to determine the feasibility of him getting elected.

He's the 2020 underdog or Bernie Sanders in my book. You know the candidate that people initally snub, and brush off until they really get around to hearing his policies.

With that said, my goal is for Yang to push other candidates to the left or to at least be as focused and transparent as his platform seems...

The more I think about it, the I'm like fukk Biden, Beto, Mayor Pete and all the other classic herkie jerkie politicians.

People need to embrace the Yang's, Sander's and Warren's who actually sound sincere regarding the needs of everyday Americans.

To me, its a classic case of "the cat is out the bag" in the age of social media. People go to Twitter, Facebook, IG, and see how other people in other first world countries have true universal healthcare, free public education, guaranteed housing, high quality infrastructure, and now people in America demand these things. At least young Americans. The old establishment of the Democratic Party can't see that, and the Republicans are tripling down on ignorance and racism to keep the status quo of the last 4 decades. We had enough of the bullshyt excises and lies that these politicians of both parties are doing, and Trump pretty much awakened the sleep giant of people becoming active to vote in every election possible. They have no idea that social media pretty much doomed their old ideas and we young people demand a progressive movement that will finally get into the correct track of nationalizing healthcare and higher education as a human right. Its only a matter of time before medical bills and student loans will be a thing of the past. Greed always comes at an abrupt end.
