I don’t think it’s a guarantee that Biden beats Sanders in a Wisconsin or Michigan primary.I fux with this idea even though it would certainly guarantee Biden a victory which is probably not for the best

Yeah, but in that scenario you would also have way more candidates in Michigan to start the primary so Biden wouldn’t be the only centrist. Klobuchar is right next door in Minnesota too, which is another state that was trending Republican so it would probably be another early state. I think it would be close all around. Not guaranteed, but It's pretty probable as long as Sanders and Warren are both in the race.
Bernie won Michigan in 2016 but that was basically just Hillary vs. Bernie and it was close. With Warren also in there the progressive vote will be split so Biden is likely to squeak by.
Minnesota is NOT "trending" Republican. Hillary was just uniquely unpopular.Yeah, but in that scenario you would also have way more candidates in Michigan to start the primary so Biden wouldn’t be the only centrist. Not understand what trending means brehs.Minnesota is NOT "trending" Republican. Hillary was just uniquely unpopular.
Former VP Walter Mondale in 1984 and then-VP Al Gore in 2000 won Minnesota by only a small plurality like Hillary did. It didn't mean that MN was trending Republican. Minnesota is still a Likely D state. If Trump couldn't win it in 2016, he's definitely not winning it in 2020.
