But the polling still shows Biden and Bernie being the best general election nominees.

They both win 270 electoral votes.

Warren's weaker polling is actually due to lower name ID than Bernie and Biden.

But the favorable and unfavorable numbers have gone down for all of them. Of course, Trump is still worse than everyone running but that's how it was in 2016.

Trump is going to do his best to drag whoever the nominee is to Hillary levels of favorable//unfavorable.

Unfortunately he's good at that type of thing and I'm sure the media (and Twitter) will help.

Yup. It's got me thinking the media wants Trump to win. :francis:

And I think Facebook is a bigger problem than Twitter. Trump is dumping millions on digital advertisements especially on Facebook with blatant lies and misinformation.

Bernie's team seems to be advertising on YouTube/Google quite a bit which is IMO effective as well.

You do not see Biden digital ads anywhere. His lack of grassroots fundraising is a big problem.

We have to save money for the primary. If we start losing he'll start spending. There's no reason to currently. Trump's outraised us at a 5-1 ratio right now.

We gotta wait for everybody to drop. Then we go get all their donors.

The problem is that if Bernie isnt the candidate, they will drain the money whoever the primary winner will be :snoop: They act in an irrational and jaded manner, that only hurts democrats.

So, money wasn't a problem in 2016 as we all know HRC outraised DJT.

Bernie's raised more money than anyone in the Dem field this year. He has 4 million nearly 5 million individual donations which is a record. Bernie also has more donors than Trump. This power isn't talked about enough. And unfortunately its discounted in the talk of Bernie's candidacy.

Biden has low cash on hand and barely outraised Kamala and Yang last quarter. It's a big problem. And he has Obama's list. Its why he needs a SuperPAC to run ads in Iowa because Bernie is on the airwaves in the early states and Bernie is going to be on the airwaves in California in a way no one else will be. (Outside the two billionaires)

Them polls ain’t lying.
Trust in polls brehs, Nobody is excited for Biden. Grassroots youth is going to be huge for Bernie, just depends on turnout

TBH what hurts Democrats is continually backing moderate corporate shills who will do nothing to change our country for the better other than simply not being Trump.

Yuck,
How the fukk is Klobuchar at 10%? It still time but it not looking good for Warren :francis:. If this poll is accurate I guess I would have to root for Bernie. I’m not excited at all. Some of my key issues are still not being addressed by any of these candidates, and I’m becoming increasingly concerned about the ability of these candidates to defeat Trump.
c/s...people will say i'm stanning, but liz literally seemed like the best candidate to get both sides of the party together, but she got attacked from both sides and it has damaged her. bernie is not going to get centrist support, i see more progressives voting for biden out of "no trump" duty than i do the other way. either case, "not trump" is not a strong enough gen election campaign strategy.

Uh....the polls say different.

“Energize” is such a dumb term in politics anyway.

Addisu is Booker's campaign manager. We've gotten a ton of national polls but zero early state polls after the debate. This "DNC qualified" stuff is a mess
