I don’t like replying to your posts because they are misinformed, but at least that’s policy where you can have an opinion. This here tho is factually incorrect.

Neither the CBC or CBC Foundation are a lobbying group or our lobbying group. That’s absolutely not the purpose of either group. The CBC is a caucus of legislators on Capitol Hill. The CBC foundation is a nonprofit and legally cannot lobby since they are a 501(c)3.

that’s not what I meant and u know it.

technically they aren’t a lobbyist group. But their actions effectively act as the “lobbyist group” for black issues.

CBC staffers are in the same rooms at the same time as other lobbyist groups, championing for black issues. Most Good staffers once they leave join corporations as lobbyists. I know of 5-6 personally that have done so over the past 2-3 years.

Well, you guys got what y'all wanted. So celebrate!

A lot of the criticisms about her prosecutorial record were either exaggerated or blatantly false. I'm not saying she was perfect but a lot of y'all and a lot of Tulsitards and Bernie Bros were making her out to be Bull Connor or the KKK. It was and still is ridiculous.

It's a damn shame that Pete, Tulsi, Marianne, Klobuchar are still in the race but not Kamala. Damn.

I'll vote for whoever's the nominee (as long as it's not Tulsi or Bloomberg but I don't expect them to win) but this ain't right man.

I mean she easily had as more money and the same numbers as Tulsi, Marianne and maybe Pete. She could of stayed in.

it was her decision to drop out.

According to records, Kamala said her campaign didn't have enough money to continue :francis:.

No nikka, they are not a lobbyist group. The CBC Foundation is a think tank.

The Congressional Black Caucus is a group of supposedly likeminded legislatures. Do you consider the Freedom Caucus a lobbyist group?

And I think it’s disingenuous to say they are actively fighting for black issues since black people cant agree on what are black issues.

Honestly at this stage I want everyone bar Sanders and Biden to drop out. I just want to win and get rid of Trump. I like Warren but if I’m honest, America is a long way away from electing a woman President.
I mean they just gave a black man a sample of the Presidency and took it right back, people think we ready to give it to a woman? On top of that, a black woman? Niccas not keeping it real with themselves :francis:

Look shes a good candidate / actor, but her past overshadows anything she's done moving forward. Like if people in the bay are still upset over her tenure as AG, than she still has a lot of ground to make amends.

But some the her jabs she took at candidates during debates and her ability to come off as empathetic were top tier and amazing.

Also lets not forget the race and gender double standard, if Beto was as smooth, empathetic, clever and charismatic as Kamala than dude would have been a shoe in for the nomination.

Ok then who lobby's for black issues? Do you actually even know any CBC staffers. Do you know what they do day in and day out? The CBC is not a registered lobbyist group but they lobby for black issues with congressmen.

You don't have to be a registered lobbyist to carry out the action of lobbying. :mjlol: If I call Elizabeth's Warrens office and say I'd like for her to fix some issue for black people, I am lobbing for that issue and my actions at that time make me a lobbyist.

A lobbyist is an activist who seeks to persuade members of the government (like members of Congress) to enact legislation that would benefit their group. nyone who petitions the government or contacts their member of Congress to voice an opinion is functioning as a lobbyist.

Listen to the Lobbying Show podcasts. A former CBC member was interviewed :francis:

We've already had six debates and multiple town halls.

In 2016, we only had four debates before the Iowa Caucus. Candidates had plenty of time to show out. Kamala had Hillary's team, tons of endorsements and institutional support from the California Democratic party machine as soon as she announced. She was built up as a frontrunner and did not deliver the goods.

Yep. Not even a Kamala fan but Ill be damned if fans of a spoiler candidate that literally was ready to serve for the Trump admin and aligns with the Trumpster FP agenda is made to be a better candidate.

Like Greenwald and co, Tulsi hates the Dem Party more than she hates the GOP.

I’m borderline thinking they’re just white supremacists at this point.
