Elizabeth Warren: Yesterday afternoon I ate a sandwich.
Y'all: Actually, we have footage of you eating at exactly 11:59AM. You are a pathological liar, ma'am.

:mjlol:
So you believe her when she says her campaign doesn’t do internal polls and she gets all her public opinion data from the media?

Warren's campaign has been widely reported to not utilize outside polling and places the least emphasis on polling out of all the candidates in the race. That's obviously an overall thematic, strategic decision for her campaign, and that's what she's referring to with her first response. The question was posed to her about the campaign doing any internal polling and she said she doesn't know, so unless you have evidence of Warren knowing of internal polling her team has conducted, calling her an outright liar is very weird, bordering on obsessive. She gets far more scrutiny than any other candidate, but that's the nature of the game, I get it. Ultimately, I don't really care that much if her Primary campaign team is doing internal polling or not. The most likely scenario to me is that her data team is probably doing internal polling and her campaign leadership is isolating her from them so as to not dilute her message or let those results creep into her mind. I see absolutely no reason to assume she's lying about knowing of internal polling unless you have some weird ax to grind against Elizabeth Warren.

Also, I think it's telling that all the top responses to that tweet calling her a pathological liar are all from people with Bernie in their twitter bios but that's none of my business :coffee:

So you think a presidential primary upper-tier candidate doesn’t have internal polling, or they do but the candidate doesn’t know about it? :comeon:

Could’ve fooled me with all her reactionary M4A juelzing.

I keep warning you guys for years at this point.

Sanders appeals to progressives who really don't give a shyt about social progressives or minorities:

EVEN MEGA CONSERVATIVE ROSS DOUTHAT KNOWS THIS!!!

@wire28 @Th3G3ntleman @ezrathegreat @Jello Biafra @humble forever @Darth Nubian @Dameon Farrow @Piff Perkins @BigMoneyGrip @Lucky_Lefty @johnedwarduado @Armchair Militant @panopticon @88m3 @Tres Leches @ADevilYouKhow @dtownreppin214 @A.R.$

I guess that's why he leads among young women of color and latinos. The guy's marijuana legaliziation plan is written to make sure minority groups affected by the drug war gets first dibs.

Sanders doesn't shyt on issues related to people of color, he's just good at talking about the commonalities of multiple grouos by discussing class struggle.

Having a Deval Patrick or Kamala Harris act as an avatar for establishment politics is not enough anymore for people feeling that structural change is needed.

Selective isolation of the candidate from information is a pretty widely-employed practice. A primary function of a campaign staff is to filter information to the candidate.

Warren's filter is just set very finely. But again, if you're starting from the presupposition that Warren is a nefarious actor, then almost any anti-Warren take becomes justifiable and strange narratives begin to present themselves.

I don’t see any candidate that can galvanize the entire base. They all have major flaws. My only hope is that people hate Trump enough that they will vote for the nominee just to get him out of office. But that doesn’t always work out.
Same...i don’t know if “not trump” is as big of a motivator as coastal cites and the Twitterverse want to make it seem. And of the top candidates/

I don’t see sanders bringing over the moderates/centrists

I don’t see Pete motivating the youth, progressives or people of color

I don’t see youth falling behind Biden, but I do think older progressives might suck it up just to get trump out

Liz seemed best positioned to bridge the two, but both sides have attacked her for not being centrist/progressive enough thus both sides have damaged her. I objectively think she would’ve been the best hope in appealing to both sides of the base.

Impressive hypothetical rationalization. Fact is all presidential campaigns use internal polling. Liz messaging, verbiage, slogans, the way she speaks about M4A, her decision to have that event with Angela Rye and all those black female celebrities, the thing at Spellman, etc. all are decisions that factor in internal polling I’m sure.

Anyway she had that same deer in headlights look she gets when she’s searching for the right answer instead of just saying the truth. She knows her campaign uses internal polling and it’s foolish to suggest she doesn’t.

Bernies got way more youth on his side than warren.

warren fans are people who are centrists/progressives. Believing they need to give in somewhat to attract the other side.

A pragmatic revolutionary approach sounds good on paper, but can never be executed.

One guy said he could do it bc black ppl cleared the way for him...:obama:

no one stays on code with warren. She has no true base, only ppl hoping they can be
