Reading that piece, its not clear who he wants. He doesn't really believe in Biden but a lot of Obama people are on that campaign and are encouraged that Biden hasn't collapsed yet.

But it is clear that he doesn't want Warren or Sanders. :obama:

Funny enough, Bernie and Liz HAVE NOT criticized Obama much at all. It's actually :smugbiden: who's lowkey shytting on Obama.

Article was a good read. Waiting for Obama

- Obama will intervene if Sanders looks like he's going to get the nod. Bernie isn't a Democrat and this article reinforces the obvious disdain establishment D's have at him high-jacking the party.
- NOBODY and I mean nobody wanted Biden to run. I knew Holder had aspirations but I didn't realize how serious he was. Biden essentially has the team Holder was going to use to run, which means he couldn't run and he was mad at Obama for not helping in this regard.
- I don't get the impression that he would step in if Warren were to get the nom like he would if it was Sanders. He isn't happy about her being on the other end of spectrum from him on handling business/wall street and she will surely back away from her boarder policy, but I think he would endorse if she got the nod. Which would help with her "black voter" problem.
- Like most of us, him and his people felt Kamala wouldn't resinate with black voters.

It sounds like he's going to be heavily involved when the nomination is secured.

she hasn't changed any of her plans...and her plans are distinct, there's a wealth tax, health care, free college, big tech, housing, she even addressed higher rates of black mortality in childbirth...not sure how these aren't distinct. she's clearly thought through multiple issues and has plans for them...the hell you talking about?

what r u talking about?

First she supported Bernies plan but when pressed backtracked
Second she had her own m4all plan but when pressed backtracked
Third she added a public option bridge. Something she never brought up at all when saying she supported Bernies plan or or issuing her own m4all plan.

Now lets get to her bread and butter 2% + 1% wealth tax. First she says its going to raise 2.75 trillion over 10 years. The biggest wealth tax increase ever.

She already committed this money to other proposals, including expanding child care and canceling student debt. every penny of the tax was gone. Most experts say her calulations for this is way off anyway. She's overshooting alot. Facts on Warren's Wealth Tax Plan

But she has to pay for M4all and so she doubles her tax to 6%. :mjlol:Elizabeth Warren would double her proposed billionaire wealth tax to help fund 'Medicare for All'
All while not changing the messaging at all and consistently says in her debates that it's a 2% wealth tax:hhh:. she's still saying its 2% just outright lying to yall

Does this math add up to u:why: How can you not see she's just an outright liar and still lying.

IMO the idea that Obama would get involved to try to somehow "stop" Bernie is pure :duck:

There's no reason for him to do so and a lot of reason for him not to, mainly that it would cause a backlash and hurt the party. He's just going to endorse whoever wins and keep it moving because there's no benefit to doing otherwise. A former Dem president bashing a potential Dem opponent for Trump is just stupid politics and whatever you think about Obama, he's not stupid.

In 1944 Democratic Party insiders encouraged many candidates to run so as to split the vote at the convention and prevent Henry Wallace, the popular progressive and the ailing FDR's hand picked successor, from securing the nomination for Vice President. They went as far as to illegitimately disband the convention to prevent a vote Wallace was sure to win. Instead of Wallace, who was a scientist and one of the most popular, intelligent, and forward thinking Americans at the time, Harry Truman, a shoe salesman from Missouri, won the nomination and became the Vice President. Hope you brehs are prepared for an all out assault on Senator Sanders from Republicans, oligarchs and establishment dems. What we've seen now is NOTHING compared to what will happen if Sanders becomes the solidified front runner, and looks like it may begin with Obama.

He's not stupid, and the reason to do so would to be to potentially harm one of the few progressives in the race. Progressive policies that Sanders wants hurts oligarchs & wallstreet, relationships that Obama cares about more. He's going to endorse Biden & find a way to further shyt on Sanders and his progressive movement.

:childplease: he's not going to endorse anybody until the primary is over, just like in 2016. He's said so himself.

This Bernie persecution complex has got to stop :snoop:

It's not a complex but you can keep acting like it's not. MSNBC has literally been caught switching poll numbers between Sanders and Warren to make it look like he didn't win the poll. Every mention of Sanders is typically in a negative fashion if they even cover him which they rarely do, articles where Sanders is the poll leader the headline will read "Warren surges! Biden maintains". It's a concerted effort to downplay the movement.

Bruh you are so confused and misinformed I don't even know where to begin.

1) She has never backtracked on M4A. Her line has always been "I'm with Bernie on this" with the "this" being M4A. She never said she would put his specific bill up for a vote in her first 100 days in office, she never said she wouldn't release her own transition plan or financing plan. Bernie's bill isn't the only M4A option on the table. Jayapal has her own bill, for example. Warren has always been for M4A, and still is, because she's for single-payer, full-coverage, universal healthcare. She's fleshed out her plan to get there, just like Bernie did (kinda, still waiting on financing), just like Jayapal did.

2) She initially rolled out a wealth tax (2% on $50M+, 3% on $1B+) which was allocated to universal childcare, universal pre-K, tuition-free college, HBCU funding, and canceling student debt. In order to fund M4A, she proposed an additional wealth tax that ups that $1B+ number to 6%. These are two separate wealth tax proposals. You could do one without the other. So when she talks about 2%, she's referring to the first one and what it funds, which is not M4A. You're acting very naive and weird by calling this an "outright lie".

but it’s not 2% it’s 6%. The 2% is a lie. That’s what I’m saying she needs 6%.
6% ON $1B+ IS FOR M4A, DAMN MAN THIS REALLY AIN'T THAT HARD TO FOLLOW :gucci:

Wealth Tax 1: 2% for $50M+, 3% for $1B+ to fund universal childcare, tuition-free college, student debt cancellation, expand HBCU funding.

Wealth Tax 2: add 3% (so 6% total) for $1B+ to fund M4A.

This shyt ain't confusing man :what:
