For the record, if something gay is integral to the story I don't mind it...but they just be throwing gay shyt in to appease people.

None of the movies were runaway favorites (excluding Roma because I didn't see it). But what don't y'all like about Green Book? From what I gathered, he was estranged from his family...completely. He and the bul spent a long ass time on the road together. Of course they would form a bond. Now the shower scene was unnecessary, but it did happen. So, it's one man's perspective on their friendship. Hell, it's not any more lopsided than the ish Dre & Cube pulled with Compton.

But overall, it was a good movie with great acting. The Favourite needed better editing. Vice was nothing special, but it was entertaining. It was a dark comedy, and those get no love. Bohemian really shouldn't have been nominated, and A Star is Born is like the 3rd remake. That leaves Blakkklansman & Black Panther. As a movie, BP is pretty much on the same level as Queen. That leaves it between KKKlansman and Green Book. You'd actually lean toward KKK since it's a black and jew against prejudice.

Like that 2005 movie, Peter Farrelly’s interracial buddy dramedy is insultingly glib and hucksterish, a self-satisfied crock masquerading as an olive branch. It reduces the long, barbaric and ongoing history of American racism to a problem, a formula, a dramatic equation that can be balanced and solved. “Green Book” is an embarrassment; the film industry’s unquestioning embrace of it is another.
