Eu Sou O Segundo
Ive never denied it :manny:
I watch sports, YES. Since i was little ive never been passionate about any sport except for basketball. Granted i grew up in a country where soccer is undisputed KING i never really followed it that closely because noone in my household watched sports. Back then it was teams like Juventus and Napoli and Inter de Milan that were popular. My father ran track when he was little but ive never seen him watch a single game or even talk about any sport, PERIOD. I enjoy playing soccer much more than i enjoy watching it. In school in Haiti you'd more often find me playing volleyball than on the soccer field. After basketball and volleyball. Everything else are distant 2nd and 3rds
  1. Basketball
  2. Volleyball
  3. Football (soccer)
  4. American Football
Actually only times you'll catch me watching soccer these days is on sunday when i go to see my cousin and me and her husband will sit there for 3 hours flipping through different matches. Evry now and then i may catch a game live at the MBS in Atlanta.
Still funny how im supposed to believe Americans are suddenly so passionate about soccer after the way i watched them shyt on it the last 30 years, tho :mjlol: I mean seriously....

Most of the people that truly love the sport are either immigrants or the children of immigrants. Even in the thread here, most of the diehard fans in the US are first or second generation Americans.

Well i must say i do see a lot of americans starting to really get into it tho. Especially when i go to the stadium. I remember when national syndicated sports show hosts like Jim Rome and JT The Brick and many others used to go on these anti-soccer rants in the 90s and early 2000s. shyt was highly disrespectful the way they would go about it. All the sudden im listening to JT last year and dude is all in on soccer had me like :gucci:
Times have changed i guess :manny:
