damn if you're a minnesota fan you're probably thinking "where's the respect at. Same with Baylor. If minnesota beats penn state saturday they will probably jump into the top 10 for sure.

Look up OSU's strength of schedule.OSU doesnt deserve to be #1 IMO. Their resume isnt better than LSU's
They can’t play each other in the SEC title game. They’re in the same division.Honestly, I could see Bama AND LSU making the playoffs if they split. One wins this Saturday, and the other gets revenge in the SEC title game. Both games will be close.
I see Clemson and Ohio State winning out.
Clemson will get the #2 spot, but in reality, they'll be the worst of the 4 playoff teams.

Am I the only one that noticed how the exact words that came out of the chairman's mouth was the same talking points from certain high profile sports analysts for the past few weeks. All I see is consistent inconsistency with the logic that comes out of the Playoff Committee's decision. Every year they create a new idea to shape a narrative. I can't understand how you are to rank teams without bias but use poll ranks from ESPN, AP and Coaches to shape an argument. It's no way you watched Clemson play and said "you know what...Penn St is better". They basically said Bama was better than Penn St. because of the "eye test" then said... well Penn St is better than Clemson because "they played a better schedule". I got nothing else to say on it because they are making it up as they go and are clearly judging Clemson by a different standard.
The problem here is the loser of LSU v Bama could get in without even winning the SEC.
This is the biggest problem with the college football playoffs. It nullifies the regular season. The conference champ should be in and that is it. It would give more weight to the game this saturday or the penn state game in 3 weeks.
Loser should not be able to backdoor their way into the playoffs.
OSU has also beaten a 7-2 Indiana and a 1st place FAU. I actually had yall at 1, but i can see why the committee put us at 1.The difference here is that LSU played Northwestern State who are 1-8, while OSU played Miami OH who are 4-4.
Neither one of these non conference games had any chance of being an upset, but OSU is getting the SOS bump
