It's two 10-8 rds. There's 12 rds. You need more than just knockdowns to win a fight if you're losing and getting outboxed for the majority of the rounds. Lets say Wilder won 3 rds including the 2 with the knockdowns. He would have only scored 111 pts which means Fury would have won the other remaining 9 rds which would tally to 117.
Remember boxing rounds are scored with the 10 pt must system. You only get 10 points for winning the round. You don't get extra points when you knock a nikka down. You just lower their score for the round. Instead of scoring 9 pts for that round they get only get 8 since they minus a point for the knockdown. Basically saying Wilder only had 3 10 point rds. The rest where he was getting outboxed and swinging for the stars, he only scored 9 points.
