Knox has said on numerous occasions that he doesn't want to play the 4 in college. Tatum turned the corner when K started playing him at the 4. Asking Knox to come in and fill Tatum void is unfair if he's looking for production. His one on one game isn't at Tatum level and if they get a true pg, there's no need for the "4 out and 1 in" offense. Frank/Grayson at the 2 and Luke (if he stays) is at the 3. So if Knox sticks to his guns about not wanting to play the 4, his decision does depends on Luke's decision.

fair enough, but i still think it doesn't matter. It does matter if both luke and grayson come back. if only one comes back and duval commits, then you can have a starting lineup of duval/allen or kennard/knox/carter/bamba or bolden with jackson/trent/bolden or bamba off the bench with spot minutes picked up by delaurier.
