So does this mean in 2018 season 6 of Game of Thrones will be eligible for nominations? And season 7 as well?

season 6 had an April 2016 begin date and received nominations last year. Season 7 would receive its nominations at the 2018 Emmy awards because of the June cut off date.

6, five in the general categories....actor, series plus Donald got a writing/directing nod for comedy series. His brother, Stephen, got a writing nod for comedy series, so they're up against one in that category
