Just the last 30 minutes alone was brutal for her. She had to do that 5 minute monologue covered in blood and guts. She def held her own amongst all those great actors/characters. If she loses I'd understand though.

In a perfect world, it's a 3 way between 'Room', 'Mad Max' and 'The Revenant', for Best Picture and Best Director, but in true Academy fashion, 'The Big Short' and 'Spotlight' are gonna pick up the most wins.

Ridley Scott didn't deserve a nomination for The Martian. Unlike people like George Miller and Iñárritu, The Martian wasn't carried by how it was directed but by Matt Damon's performance and how it was written which BOTH were rightfully nominated. Outside of that, this is one of Ridley Scott's SAFEST and most crowd pleasing film he may possibly ever made. It's a damn far cry from that damn Exodus bullshyt he gave us last year...
if Leo doesn't win best actor he might he might combust...i don't really care for that line up at all.
