ESPN put their playoff machine up ESPN.com's 2016 NFL Playoff Machine - Simulate Matchups and Scenarios

here's what i came up with

The Chiefs might lose their last 3 games and finish 10-6. They gotta play Tennessee and Denver at home then go to San Diego. Derrick Johnson is out. Alex Smith will eventually prove he's Alex Smith.

I definitely got em losing to the Titans, I don't think they'll be able to handle that run game and they got a good enough defense to slow down KC offense. Raiders just gotta run the table to get the division back. If the Pats lose tonight, KC loses on Sunday, and the Raiders win out we'll be #1 seed in the AFC.

Bears defense under Fangio has been quietly really good this season, and that's with a incredibly inexperienced secondary and injuries everywhere

They better do everything they can to keep Fangio. If they add talent to the secondary and have better health, they can be poised to be a top 5 defense in the league


Also, the Bears have been the most injury ridden team in the league this season, and the Alshon/Freeman suspensions on top of it. Still, they had 5 games slip away in ridiculous fashion this season. Yes, they are 3-10, but they aren't that far off from 8-5 (or at least 7-6) and being right in the mix.

I'm very hopeful of this team next year if we spend wisely in FA and solve the QB position

This defense should be really good next season and Howard is already a high level back in the league. Since he got the starting position, he's been a top 5 back in the league

I thought for a second we would at least get into field goal range and have a chance to get into overtime.

Yeah, shyt was mad frustrating to watch. We'll be super lucky to even make the playoffs. Team has the talent on both sides of the ball. Just haven't been able to put it all together in all three phases of the game. Offensive line has been consistently bad.

It really fukks up everything. Can't run. Can't pass. Can't protect QB so that he stays healthy. Because we can't advance the ball, special teams is always punting, regularly doing so from within our 25-yard line which means we're usually giving the other team's offense good field position. And even though we still have a pretty good D they gotta be tired because the offense can't sustain drives at all--the amount of 3 and outs has been absolutely embarrassing.

That's the Raiders last chance at that #1 seed, Denver ain't a threat to us as long as we handle our business. A desperate Denver might do us that favor in KC, same with the Titans, at this point with all their weaknesses I think the best bet for Denver is to play spoiler ain't no way they getting the Wild Card imo.
