Ok I spend this past weekend watching and re watching games. Prob watched at least a dozen games if not more. Def more considering I only watched a half of several games. Tried to watch some international ball too that i had recorded

So here is my revised top 15

1. Ben Simmons

2. Brandon Ingram - is a lot closer to being number one than people may realize rn. Duke is playing like shyt but his talent is undeniable.

3. Dragan Bender - this draft is so weak and his ceiling is so great that i had to give them this spot even though he hasn't done anything of note.

4. Kris Dunn - will prob end up Better than Bender but he still struggles with his jumper and turnovers and injuries are always a question. Plus that overly aggressive defense that he does is dominant in college but it's not gonna fly in the NBA. Players are too quick and smart.

5. Jakob Poeltl - I've been impressed with his post game improvements as well as passing.

6. Ivan Rabb - Got outplayed by Poeltl this week but that also had to do with double teams. Went right by Jakob on a rare one on one possession.

7. Furkan Korkmaz - the draft is so weak again, that i had to move him up a few spots just because no one else really stands out.

8. Buddy Hield - :russ: at him being a number one pick. He will be a good player but he just doesnt have the natural talent to ever be an NBA star

9. Jamal Murray

10. Deyonta Davis

11. Jaylen Brown - I've talked about before why I'm mot that high on him but he has gotten to the rim at will in the Pac 12. That's gotta mean something

12. Thomas Bryant - I'm pretty high on him. Great frame and wing span, good feel and shooting touch. He is still learning the fundamentals but in the right environment he might end up a top 3 player in this draft.

13. Denzel Valentine - will be a nice role player.

14. Diamond Stone - talent is there but he doesnt seem to have the natural feel that Bryant does. Prob stronger than Bryant though.

15. Wade Baldwin - good measurables, and an unselfish mentality. Why not?

:snoop: I'm really disappointed by this season, the rule changes are great and I loved that Oklahoma - Kansas game. Wish Simmons and Ingram had Better players around them. Otherwise, I'm not going to watch much until March madness comes around.
Thank God the NBA is having an instant classic season.

It's hard to tell who has more upside between Ingram and Simmons. I know Ingram is younger but Simmons all around game is so impressive and he has shown flashes of a good midrange game.

Unless things changed...I don't see the Thomas Bryant hype. Dude can't guard the Pick N Roll at all and isn't laterally quick.

been trying to tell dudes this...him and Simmons are damn near opposites as far as skillset, but Ingram's potential as a scorer is scary

He moves a little awkward, understandable for his size/age but he is fairly light on his feet. Dude still growing into his body. Remember Myles Turner last year looked way more akward and is doing just fine.

I'm not seeing it with Ingram at all. I don't see where brehs see the talent I've watched his games (not impressed) so I went to his highlights to see his "potential" I still don't see it. I think he's completely overrated but maybe he'll prove me wrong one day :yeshrug:
If he becomes a star, bump this and I'll take my L :ehh:

That's what people said about a lot of other players what makes him such an instant success in the league?
He can shoot, is a scorer, is athletic; strong, fast and quick. He's a very willing passer who makes good decisions. His ball handling has improved tremendously and I think that bodes well for his rookie season, with that being his biggest weakness even though it's pretty good this year.

Most of all his tenacity and his vocal leadership. I don't see how he will not be a star.

I'm struggling between not saying anything so I don't put my foot in my mouth and saying something so I can brag about it later.

Hey, what's the worst that could happen? I'm not interested in bragging, I'm just being honest. You should express yoself. I'm not gonna ridicule you because of it.

Am I the only one who thinks Skal will become a good player if the Celtics or Spurs draft him?
He is the worst rebounder I've ever seen. It's tough to give him real minutes in high level college games, let alone NBA. He is D League material at best rn
I can see the talent but some guys just don't have the ability to put it all together. His bball instincts are poor

What don't you like? Duke has the best offense in all of college basketball and their only PG is playing like he is on a JV high school team
Ingram and Allen are unstoppable at the college level. Allen can't shoot that well and has a slow release so he might struggle in the pros but Ingram is unbelievable.
Now defense is another question but that will come with proper coaching..
What games did you watch?
