You really picture the magic giving him the max?
They have no reason not to. If they aren't looking to sign a star through free agency and build through the draft, they have to stick it out with the young talent they have and hope that one of those guys becomes a star. If they continue to lose, so be it, eventually they'll draft a good one. If they turn the corner, then mission accomplished.
You gotta remember the cap is going up. His max is only gonna be like $15-16 mil a year, after the cap jumps it won't be looked at as the same value
nah he's at least 2 levels under westbrook and a level under rose.

2. Knicks trade the 4th pick to the Pacers for Hill, Hibbert and Indiana's pick
3. Kings trade Cousins to the Pistons for the 9th pick, Jennings and Monroe
