I agree, just saying currently, they fell off something bad after 2004. I believe Butch has them going in the right direction.

If they'd have built a Krispy Kreme on campus, Fulmer would've been much more motivated to coach.

And as far as the underachieving crown, that goes to LSU

I hate them, but LSU is a team to be feared EVERY year tho.

I'm always excited when they lose their 1st game b/c they can be a national title contender every year

Bama ass DC
Bama's 3rd string RB got arrested:

Alabama running back Kenyan Drake was arrested early Saturday morning.

The Tide junior was charged with obstructing government operations and is being held on a $1,000 bond as of 8:40 am, CT.

A spokesman for the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Department declined to comment on the arrest.

According to the criminal code of Alabama, the charge is defined as follows:

Section 13A-10-2 – Obstructing governmental operations.
(a) A person commits the crime of obstructing governmental operations if, by means of intimidation, physical force or interference or by any other independently unlawful act, he:

(1) Intentionally obstructs, impairs or hinders the administration of law or other governmental function; or

(2) Intentionally prevents a public servant from performing a governmental function.

(b) This section does not apply to the obstruction, impairment or hindrance of the making of an arrest.

(c) Obstructing governmental operations is a Class A misdemeanor.

The arrest appears to be for something relatively minor. A wild guess would be that Drake may have tried to prevent an officer from investigating the actions of someone else, or refused to obey an order. Either way, it’s not what you want to hear about Drake, who is one of Alabama’s most talented running backs.

Drake has been in and out of the doghouse at Alabama since his arrival, and has seemingly taken one step up and two steps back his entire career. We hope this is a matter that can be handled quickly and that Drake can continue to earn his way onto the field this season.

UT just needs coaching. It looks like Butch might be the the guy, but we will see. UT is still pulling in good recruiting classes, they just need to pull it all together. I liked what I seen from them last year.

They might be my Penn State this year, betting wise. Not a great team, but they will cover more then not.

Vols took a step back in our progress with Riley Ferguson leaving team. Clearly the QB with the best upside. I assume it going to Worley the starter and Dobbs getting some reps. I hope the defense improves this year. If so, they can get a upset or two.

Clemson is definitely the biggest underachieving.

In that conference, when Florida St was down, they should have went undefeated.

They played Florida or Georgia around that time. And usually they don't be out after one loss. :stopitslime:
They are, Cause their 2nd loss normally comes when Bama drags their ass through the mud in november
