Spring practice is here brehs.

Auburn's roster is looking pretty damn good. A lot of carryover from last year's team. 2nd year in both systems and a lot of talented freshmen coming in.

But who knows...it's spring practice. No one says anything bad in the spring.

Just hoping for no injuries as far as FSU goes. This isn't like last spring FSU pretty much knows what it has at all the spots and the comp won't really be decided until game 2 or 3 to be honest. Just interested in seeing some of the young WR's from last year get a chance to shine since Benjamin and Shaw are gone.

Marshall just has to get in that 65% completion range and we're good. Got serious playmakers at WR this year. And we're going faster than ever.

I don't think there will be any dropoff. Get back 2-3 players that could've made a big impact last year but ended up being hurt before the season started. One dude tripped on some steps and was out for the season.

Secondary might get better once the freshmen come in to add depth. We were razor thin at DB last year and almost all of them were undersized. That came back to haunt us as you know.

No offseason trouble yet. Under Chizik half the team would've been arrested by now.

Found out that Chad Morris and his staff took a trip to Auburn a few weeks ago to add some run game to Clemson's offense. Gus is still the master brehs.

This isn't anything new...Chad and Gus are friends...back when Morris was coaching HS he chopped it up with Gus on things...The issue is that Chad tends to get pass happy sometimes and forget about the running game...esp when it's working. I remember Andre Ellington was killing it in the first half of the game...after half time we ran the ball maybe 5 times outside of Tajh Boyd.

Other Random Musings:


*I'm interested to see how UCF does now that Bortles dipped. I think it might be a quick flash thing like USF when Leavitt was there with George Selvie and company. Of course, USF wasn't as nearly as successful. Rutgers crushed them buildings in '07.

*Really intrigued to see what p*ssy Gettin' Bob does now that he's back at UL. We're beating that ass, though. I know that much. Speaking of UL. I remember they had a DE/LB named Peanut Whitehead. I wonder what happened to dude?

*I think Jameis at minimum will be a Heisman finalist again. I'm not ready to say he's going to pull a Archie Griffin yet.

* College Football is a full time ass job. Brehs, summer conditioning is about to start and then spring practice after that.

* Clemson is holding Swag Kelly back. . I wonder if Dabo is going to unleash Deshaun Watson?

* Brett Hundley is okay. But, I never watch him and think, "damn this dude is niceeeeeee." I want to see where he takes it this season.

* Virginia Tech is dying, brehs. I'm talking straight seppuku And FSU is helping to sharpen the blade. They can't land the big time in-state talent. And we took their best shot at a big time defensive player and their best offensive recruit.

* One of these big schools need to hire Mike Gundy. I know OSU is his alma mater, he still holds records at QB, and he played there with Barry and all that; but fukk all that. He'd be one of my top candidates if I were an A.D.

Nah Clemson's not holding him back...as a fan i'd love to see him play but in my heart...Cole Stoudt has ice water in his veins man...dude doesn't get flustered at all and has a very high football IQ. His pop's was an NFL qb so it's in his blood just like Kelly's Jim Kelly nephew.

Ideally I'd like to see Cole start with Swag getting signifcant PT in each game...allowing D Watson to RS. Then next year Swag starts with D Watson doing what Swag did the year b4. My gut is telling me though that if Swag don't win the starting job he'll transfer to Marshall or some shyt like that.
