kentucky and florida had them on the ropes, and while not a bad team by any means, ucf had them up against it

forget auburn or georgia. south carolina the type of team that can lose at vandy, or at florida, or at clemson, or fukk up one of their home games. team is annually overrated. they were in dogfights last year against all kinds of ass teams

South Carolina with shaw, clowney was 11-2 last year. Lost two road games and only won one road game by more than 6 points.

There will be a dropoff

kentucky and florida had them on the ropes, and while not a bad team by any means, ucf had them up against it

They arent even that talented....

aTm - tossup
East carolina - W
Georgia - tossup
At vandy - tossup
Missouri - L
@kentucky - W
Furman - W
@auburn - L
Tn - W
@florida - late in the season? L
@clemson - tossup on a neutral, L, its at clemson

8-4 at best, with an additional loss vs uga or aTm. fukk south carolina

they are 10 point faves vs a&m, thats an upset loss for sure its more in the w column than a tossup. but yea id put them about 9-3. if you gave me a over/under of 10 wins, id bet under pretty large. we have them at 9½ with the under the slight favorite at -125

Alright, so real...neutral as possible michigan expectations:

Appalacian state - W, if they lose i will literally never post here again.
@ND - W, ND got some shyt going on, qb questions, and michigan's secondary is WELL improved and will prey on that
Miami of OH - W
Utah - its at MI but i gotta say tossup...its a shame but they beat stanford yesterday and it reeks of trap game
Minnesota - W (shootout)
@rutgers - W
penn state - Tossup but first year coach that will be still feeling recruiting impact....lowercase w
@MSU - L, i cant see them winning this unless the OL is WAY improved.
Indiana - W
@northwestern - W, idk what they lost from last year but northwestern doesnt maintain success year to year. This could be a tossup though depending on health.
Maryland - W
@osu - W, they will have problems all year that wont be resolved.

1 loss, but it could be 2-3 if the penn state and utah games go awry

im figuring they go 8-4. lose @osu, lose @msu, lose 1 of the 2 between @nw and @nd, and fukk up some other game
Thats basically the....not so optimistic version of what i said. They can win in ohio...that buckeye team last year went to the wire with what will prove to be a MUCH less talented michigan team than this year, and a much MORE talented osu team than this year.

MSU....michigan might get that work
@nd and @nw...i pretty much agree, but there are a lot of unknowns there

I think the losses will be msu, and one of either nd, nw, or utah

9-3 on an optimistic tip I think Gardner will fukk up vs ND

I wouldn't chalk the Rutgers game up as an easy W on the road they got plenty of experience returning. I gotta see how the Michigan OL looks they gotta get the running game in order or every game on the schedule is a toss up with braindead Gardner under center.

team is annually overrated.
3 straight seasons in the top 10. finished higher than their preseason ranking 4 straight years. 12-3 vs teams that finished in the top 25 the past 3 seasons. you were right about the possibility of losing to an unranked team because its happened 3 out of the past 4 years. if you had simply said sc doesnt win impressively a lot or that they play down to their competition that would be accurate. saying theyre overrated is some unsubstantiated bs id expect from ed to try and make himself forget that michigan sucks. sc last year had a bad 4th quarter against kentucky in a game that they led 27-7 going into the 4th, still kentucky never had the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead. how are you on the ropes when the other team never has the ball with a chance to take the lead?

as far as road games, out of the 4 mentioned. lost @no.11 at the time georgia before they got decimated by injuries. beat ucf team that finished in the top 10 and won a bcs bowl game. awful first half at tennessee then choked away the game in the 4th quarter by not running the ball which is what usually gets spurrier in trouble, tenn won on a chip shot fg after a long completion. double ot win at top 10 missouri where the team was tripping over their feet for 3 quarters before a great comeback. other than the tennessee loss, what was so bad about the road performances?

about losing shaw and clowney leading to a dropoff. its possible, but dylan thompson played the whole way during the 2012 game at clemson, he threw the game winning td pass vs michigan in the bowl game. he played most of the way vs ucf though he wasnt particularly sharp until the 2nd half. the defense wasnt that great last year. it definitely could be worse without a returning productive pass rusher and losing both corners, but i wouldnt expect it to fall off.

people said the same thing when lattimore got injured his final two years and when the team lost melvin ingram and stephon gilmore 2 years ago. team kept on winning.

So much disrespect for Steven Orr Spurrier and the Gamecocks in this thread.

Spring time, everyone was like :krs::banderas: about their teams

Summer/Fall camps roll around and have been filled with injuries and suspensions and now it's like
uepvaVf.png

Not everyone:sas1:

Braxton Miller just announced that he will redshirt and then return to OSU to play in 2015. This actually could work out in the Buckeyes favor because OSU is young this year and brings almost everyone back in 2015. Throw Braxton on next year's team which will be all Urban's recruits and they have national championship potential.

Lets say the redshirt freshman lights it up this year and they go 11-2 or 12-1. Then what happens, i dont think miller would auto get the job again
