if i'm saying it YOU KNOW its likely true. Unless miller really regressed the conference is a 3 way race as usual. who ever comes out with 2+ wins in the msu/uofm/osu triangle will go to the playoffs imo

Mattison has been insistent on his defense returning to a more aggressive style of play -- a style he believed the team utilized well in 2011 -- that features more man-to-man press coverage on the outside, which in turn allows Mattison to become more creative with his blitzing schemes.

Michigan's defensive line struggled to put pressure on the quarterback alone last season, and due to the fact the Wolverines became more of a soft zone squad, Mattison's blitzing abilities were hindered.

Last season was also the worst year, statistically, Michigan has performed against the pass under Mattison. After finishing No. 5 against the pass nationally in 2012, the Wolverines fell to No. 66 overall in 2013.
Now, he says those days have to be over.

We are not talking about the Big Ten we are talking about The Ohio State. Going into this season we have a dynamic 4 year starter at quarterback with Braxton Miller and the best defensive line in the nation according to Athlon, Lindy's, and ESPN. Those are the two most important factors for a championship level team. Ohio State has been landing top 5 classes every year since Urban got here and finally those players are starting to get on the field.

Don't be mad because Ohio State has more talent, more tradition, better coaches, better facilities, bigger fan base, more revenue, and higher TV ratings than Auburn.
