I wish Spurrier coached at Auburn the past decade and retired and Malzahn walked in

Would've been the best SEC team and have the most BCS titles

three straight years in the top 10 aint bad. i know youre a historian and all, but had you even started watching football the last time michigan finished in the top 10 three straight years?

So who's gonna have the best/most deep backfield in cfb this season?

I know Bama is gonna have a nice backfield, but what other teams?

On 'paper' this is OU's best backfield possibly EVER(certainly the best of the Stoops era), if you include Joe Mixon we have 4 guys fighting for #1 carries. Even without him we're still in great shape barring serious injuries. All these guys are 6'0+, 210+ lbs with speed... Even our FB situation(w/o Trey Millard) looks to not be losing a step.
We got some nice depth at RB, but a lot of it is unproven. We are returning a veteran OL tho, so that helps.

Karlos Williams SR 6'1" 225 730 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns...his 8.0 yards per carry

Mario Pender RSO 5'11" 193 Did not play last season because of grades. fukker is fast.

Ryan Green SO 5'10" 195 Pretty solid back, showed a lot of potential for a freshman with limited reps. Missed spring with a shoulder injury.

Dalvin Cook FR 6'0" 200 rated the No. 1 prospect in Florida, the No. 2 running back in the nation and the overall No. 13 prospect by 247Sports

Yes.

3 straight top tens has gotten them what? No titles, no conference titles, EVER, nothing worth talking shyt about. There is no top ten paper champion... I hope the rest of the SEC runs the score up on them and arkansas this year.

so something for today...

who do you think of the "Others recieving votes" teams, has a chance to creep up to the top ten by week 10? [and no i am not fishing for michigan praise, if you don't think so, fine]

[edit: GOT DAMN i went to SI.com for the first time since the week they upgraded...i forgot how dogshyt that site is now...what a shame]

Others Receiving Votes Missouri 126; Florida 122; Central Florida 102; Mississippi State 74; Oklahoma State 56; TCU 54; Michigan 53; Iowa 49; Miami (Fla.) 45; Duke 41; Louisville 32; Marshall 27; Brigham Young 18; Boise State 13; Louisiana-Lafayette 12; Virginia Tech 12; Texas Tech 8; Minnesota 6; Cincinnati 6; Northwestern 5; Oregon State 4; Fresno State 4; GeorgiaTech 2; Houston 2; Arkansas 1; Arizona 1; Northern Illinois 1.

i'd say

  1. Michigan
  2. miami
  3. northwestern
  4. Oregon state [by then they have a chance to win at USC, at washington, at stanford]
  5. Va Tech
