Spurrier weighs in on UGA hiring Schottenheimer.

“That’s an excellent opportunity for any coach,” Spurrier said, according to The Telegraph in Macon, Georgia. “Georgia always has a whole bunch of good players. They probably have been the most consistent team in the East. Well, maybe they haven’t, heck we’ve beat them four out of five years, but overall they have probably been one of the best teams on the Eastern side.”

:mjcry:

WTH? We were supposed to interview Scott Frost tomorrow.

I dont know anything about this dude.

The 31-year-old Riley, a protege of Mike Leach, who is close to Bob Stoops, is widely considered one of the rising stars in the football coaching world. Riley sparked a Pirates attack that was No. 5 in the nation in total offense in 2014 and No. 1 in total offense in games against Power 5 opponents, with ECU racking up 570 yards per game in its four games against the big boys of the FBS.

Great. :mjcry:

We have 4 RB's who can start anywhere in the country and we're prob going back to a soft-ass air-raid offense.

Fukk man. Our (ECU) defenses were not good, but our offenses more than held their own against more talented teams. Im happy for Lincoln's success tho, but not sure where we go from here. Riley was Leech's QB coach when we hired him for our OC job. He should be solid for OU tho, because of the talent at RB that yall have. Our team was best here when we were able to run the rock. Riley is not adverse to callinga bucnh of runs if the game calls for it, and with the increased talent in the backfield that he will have, I expect to see an offense similar to Baylor/Oregon/TCU, with a run heavy spread.
