With Chad Morris gone and promoting co-offensive Coordinators [Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott] from with-in they'll get raises and with the extra money Venables will get a bump in pay also. If i remember correctly he has an incentive bonus if he has the #1 rank defense at the end of the season.
I wouldn't look too much into that. While it'll be some drop off...Clemson was rotating 2 and 3 players at a time in at key positions all season because they knew that a lot was leaving. It was times in games where nearly all 2nd string was end and this wasn't late in games.
Not really because they don't play any teams that can play any type of defense. Those teams never had to play back to back tough games and they had extra byes. You saw it with your own eyes...Clemson would shut down/slow up the offenses of both of those teams. TCU couldn't slow Baylor nor Oklahoma and we saw what Clemson did to the Sooners tonight. Baylor played 1 team with a decent defense....Texas and Texas sucks this year. The result was their lowest offensive output of the season. I guess you can add Kansas St in there too but we know they play not to get blown out and was over ranked anyway. I know you don't like Clemson but cut that foolishness out breh. With the exception of UGA in the first game of the season that team held every team under their averages and played conservative on offense to keep Cole from losing the game for us because he had the confidence of the average virgin fukking for the first time.
