@JKFrazier @MMSex Why didnt y'all use ur other RB's last night? I don't even recall seeing them on the field. Why didnt y'all run those formations y'all ran against Bama/Mizzou?

Seemed like every running play was just a simple read option to Trey Mason every time.

I think I saw Grant get used once but it was out of the wildcat. Wasn't he the starter to begin the year @JKFrazier ?

Unless they're on the west coast or have an impeccable history, it's not happening. Notre Dame could compete if they relaxed their academic standards to Lou Holtz era levels and got a better HC in there but I doubt they will with the chancellor they have now. Schools in the northeast have no shot in my lifetime or the next. Remember when Syracuse use to be good? Seems like decades ago

I'm talking about the formation where they have Marshall, Artis-Payne, Mason on each side and any one of them can get/keep the ball. trey Mason ran the ball like 40 times it seemed.

If if worked against Bama athletes, it could've worked against FSU. IMO

Tre was the horse. I think Malzahn used him because of his ability to bounce to the outside and to stop from needing subs when running uptempo. He's the best RB on the team so there was no point using anyone else IMO.

They usually only use Grant for jet sweeps and FSU blew that play up 2-3 times so Malzahn quit it pretty early.

Nope. Mason has been the main RB for the past 2 years. Next year it'll be Artis-Payne, Grant, and some combo of Peyton Barber/Roc Thomas/Johnathan Ford. Very talented group.

we completely changed our gameplan for the most part, it was eating me up the whole game
