I am almost positive UCF is sugar bowl bound.

And you're right about the bowls picking teams that travel the best. The word has gone out on Oregon blogs and forms about the Orange and traveling. And everything that I have read is, Bama is a lock for the Orange, and it comes down to who would travel the best between Clemson and Oregon. Clemson obviously being the better bet being on the east coast.

Hence why Oregon fans are rooting for BG to win and Baylor to lose. To open up more options.

As of now, the Orange bowl is the only realistic chance for a BCS bowl bid. If Baylor loses tomorrow the festive bowl bowl is in play I think.

Yup, you're right on the ACC tie in. That is really what is killing the Ducks shot more then anything.

Just like if MSU loses tomorrow they're still going to the Rose bowl I bet.

Even right before the championship games, the analyst's BCS projections are pretty much useless as there are 30 different scenarios that can happen today.

Assuming the spread is even for each game, Oregon has a 57% (17/30) chance of making a BCS bowl game. It depends not only on Baylor and/or OKState losing, but also if OSU & FSU lost. If these teams lost, they would bump up out the Big 12 and PAC 12 second BCS team and the SEC would have 3 teams in the BCS bowl games. So Oregon and Pac 12 fans should be rooting for Ohio State and/or FSU while rooting against both OKState & Baylor.

Big 12 actually have the least likely chance of getting 2 teams as likely as it seems. With the spread even, this is what the bowl games should look like
