washington is perfect for him, seattle a great place to raise a family and he wont be hounded by the press like at usc or texas, im sure he saw what happaned to kiffin and he's never been about the spotlight
ehh, I dont see him having much success. Seems like he took this job b/c the luster at Boise has worn off and this was possibly going to be his last offer.

Funny how UW gets a better coach than they previously had, and some how SC fans will turn it into a bad hire. Between Oregon, UCLA possibly rising, Oregon State usually semi solid, and now Peterson being able to sell the kind of thing he couldn't at Boise? The Pac-12 isn't the best conference, but SC definitely isn't going to dominate it like it used to. Not if they keep pairing some bad seasons, and Oregon just continues to dominate.
