If the playoffs were done like they should be (16 teams), the tourney would look like this:
#16 La- Lafayette (Sun Belt) @ #1 Florida St. (ACC)
#15 Marshall/Rice (Conf USA) @ #2 Ohio St. (Big 10)
#14 Fresno St./Utah St. (Mou. West) @ #3 Auburn (SEC)
#13 UCF (American) @ #4 Alabama (SEC/At Large)
#12 N. Illinois (MAC) @ #5 Missouri (SEC/At Large)
#11 Arizona St.* (Pac 12/At Large) @ #6 Oklahoma St. (Big 12)
#10 Michigan St.* (Big 10/At Large) @ #7 Stanford (Pac 12)
#9 Baylor* (Big 12/At Large) @ #8 S. Carolina (SEC/At Large)
*would fall out of tourney with losses this week. Would be replaced by (in order): Oregon, Clemson, LSU (or Oklahoma if they beat Oklahoma St.)
Quarterfinals (bowl sites) would produce great games like FSU vs. Baylor/S. Car, Ohio St./ Stanford, Auburn/ Oklahoma St. and Alabama/ Missouri
1st yr HC....I'm not putting him anywhere until I get a 2-3 yr sample size.....let's not forget 2 fluke plays were needed for the record he hasYo where do we rank Malzhan as a coach? He top 10?![]()
then how can you say it's a tournament of champs when you're willing to leave smaller conferences out??? that's like saying "who's Butler? they don't deserve to be in the same tourney with the likes of UNC & Duke"best teams only get the sunbelt and them other trash conferences outta here

Basketball is different in terms of an underdog advancing more so than football. The physical difference between the BCS conference and a sun belt school is like the difference between highschoolers and middle school students. It's not a fair fight IMO.
If it's unfair then why are they FBS? According to a lot of people that agree with you then FBS should only be the best of the best but they're still admitting schools like UMASS & Old Dominion (next yr) in. It's schools in major conferences who should be FCS but no ones out here claiming they should be sent down a levelBasketball is different in terms of an underdog advancing more so than football. Because it was fukking stupidhonestly i have no idea, I had an idea i posted a few years back where you follow the NFL model (32 teams, 8 divisions, 2 conferences, 14 game season etc...)
No one appreciated the brilliance of that plan
oh well
Because it was fukking stupid
Every idea you have is stupid
Everything you say is stupid
Youre the worst poster in sohh and coli history
So if I understand this right. Oregon's slim chance for a BCS bowl bid. Hinges on Bowling green beating NIU(Fri) and Texas beating Baylor(Sat). Most likely the Alamo Bowl Vs Oklahoma tho.
As a fan i agree....but as a player.......alamo bowl aint even in januaryThat's still not a bad a game. Rather have a good matchup than a bs bcs bowl game. Don't matter where they play
