I'm watching the Iron Bowl replay. Yo, Malzahn is a damn genius. He had Bama's LBs looking silly. Never seen that before. Sometimes they really had no idea who had the ball. Only coach I've seen make a Saban defense look confused at what was coming. He did it in 2009, 2010, and 2013.

They've got a serious chess match going since Malzahn joined Auburn. Auburn was an obviously inferior team in '09 and they still had a chance in the 4th.

There's a reason Saban was begging for that second back. I seriously doubt they could've stopped Auburn in OT.

I firmly believe he saw something in his team that said they would lose in OT. He had to know they had had enough so he tried an incredibly long FG. This is conservative ass Saban we talking bout. He musta known the D had had enough.

With all that questionable playcalling & decisions (just now realizing that)...Auburn still couldn't take the lead back. I dunno, maybe my view is fukked up, but if Bama got the coin toss, they woulda won. If not, it's 50/50

I still believe Bama is the better team but with the way that nikka Saban was coaching he cost them the game
