Haters are furious. :russ:

The team that played LSU, Washington State, Mississippi State is not the same team that beat Bama. Anyone who has followed Auburn even a little bit should know that. New coach, new QB, new systems, no one had any clue how capable this team was. Not to mention that Auburn was doing what they wanted at will vs LSU in the second half. The offense Auburn ran then had no zone read as Malzahn had no clue how good Marshall was in that role.

After the Ole Miss game, the offense has been lights out. Malzahn runs Marshall in the same role as Cam Newton save for him running more outside of the lineme instead between the tackles. Everyone harps on the defense, but they get stops when they need to. People were saying the same shyt in 2010 and thought Oregon was going to blow us out because we couldn't stop anybody. :childplease:

I think we have a pretty good shot vs Mizzou. Vegas hasn't been on Auburn's side from the beginning of the season until now. The Georgia Dome will be mostly Auburn fans. shyt is going to be rocking. We'll see how it turns out but I'd definitely like to see Auburn play for the final BCSNC. It'll probably take some help from Duke and MSU though. I think we'd have no problems matching up with OSU. FSU would give us problems just because of how good Jameis and those recievers are.

Either way I'm happy with this season so far.

you and @MMSex need to wear Sparty outfits because that's the more realistic shot at an upset.

for buckeye, hope urban da gawwd lobbies for his buckeyes the same way he did the mighty gators in 06. "Sheds tear"

ESPN said:
No BCS title scenarios seem too far-fetched
By Mark Schlabach | ESPN.comShortly after Florida defeated Arkansas 38-28 in the 2006 SEC championship game in Atlanta's Georgia Dome, then-Gators coach Urban Meyer immediately started lobbying for his team to play for a BCS national title.

The Gators were No. 4 in the BCS standings at the time, behind No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 USC and No. 3 Michigan. After the Trojans were upset 13-9 by unranked UCLA, Meyer believed the Gators were the most deserving one-loss team at getting a chance to play the undefeated Buckeyes.

"There are a lot of people making a lot of decisions out there, but this is a big one," Meyer said at the time. "We're going to tell a group of young men, who just went 12-1 in a most difficult schedule against six ranked opponents, that they don't have a chance to play for a national championship? I'm going to need help with that one."

Jerry Lai/USA TODAY Sports
Urban Meyer once lobbied on the merits of the SEC schedule, but now finds himself defending the Big Ten slate.Of course, the 2006 Gators ended up leaping past Michigan, which lost to Ohio State during the regular season, for the coveted second spot in the final BCS standings. Then Florida blasted the Buckeyes 41-14 in the BCS National Championship, starting the SEC's unprecedented streak of seven consecutive BCS national titles.

ironically urban's argument could be applied to Missouri if they win :heh:
