Why do they have so many years of eligibility for the hall of fame and a Player limit? To me both are stupid. Plus if I wasnt a hall of famer in the first year what makes me one 8 years later? If you got to debate whether someone is HOF worthy that nikka aint a hall of famer

it makes sense. it keeps a pool and from having 13 dudes one year then none the next year.
and also not being 1st ballot doesnt mean you aren't a HOF'er just means there are guys who are better than you who deserve to get in before you.
