All these questions are designed to ID each persons value system

but, someone gave a well thought out answer on the exact same question, a few months back, and said use like investor funds/financing to back you on the flip, for 200k, like give me 500k, and if I win the flip, I'll give you 5 m's

outside of that, I would probably have to go for the flip. I can live with the 200k, but I can't live leaving 40 m's on the table. There' so much good I could do with that, just in my immediate circle, I would be a coward to not take the chance.

Yeah lol I mentioned the investor in the coin flip for $1B thread lol.

This. Also if you’re given some time to decide, you could probably find a wealthy investor to guarantee you at least $50M in return for 50% of the potential billion from the coin flip.

Interestingly 67% of Coli voters opted for $1M instead of flipping a coin for $1B.

Damn that's tough.

If it was $500k tax free, I'd take it. $200k could help change your life but $40M changes your legacy....your kids, grandkids etc.

It's easy to say "flip the coin" in a hypothetical scenario. Very different when that money is staring you in the face.
