or murdered while being robbed?

He didn't kill anyone though.

To put things into perspective here, a CAC by the name of R. Allen Stanford got 110 years in prison for running SEVEN BILLION DOLLAR ponzi scheme. Stanford is 62 so at most he will only serve 20-30 years of that sentence, if that.

AmeriKKKa the beautiful. :pacspit:

That what happens when you take that shyt to trial. Its a big ass gamble either you win big or you lose bigger. The justice system punishes you for challenging it. :manny:

Even if he didn't take a plea, I think we can all agree that he was heavily over-sentenced. shyt like this pisses me off because it shows that this shyt is all about money. Ife he had a decent lawyer, this wouldn't even be a story.
I caught a case some years ago and was facing five if I went to trial. They offered me 3. I paid $5000 for a lawyer and did less than a year:stopitslime:

he knew the rules of the game he played. You end up dead or in jail. Only variable is whether he kills any innocent people in the process. So why should you or anyone else care. Save your sympathy for someone who deserves it.

What do you feel is the appropriate sentence for someone who shown they don't value human life by shoving guns in people faces multiple times. fukk him.

so have we as a country completely given up making prison a rehabilitation/reform platform rather than a drawn out death sentence?

I agree that the punishment doesnt fit the crime but we have to take a step back. Dude went out robbing people at gun point, got caught, got ratted on and now he's complaining about the sentence got plealessly:what:

He's a criminal who participated in armed robberies

He chose the life

pretty much this. feel pity for those that have no control of their situation. this young man chose to commit crimes, so he should suffer the consequences. thats a pretty stiff sentence but :manny:
